We have published a new article, “Viewing Trees as Infrastructure; Exploring the Potential of Mobile LiDAR and Real-World Data: Insights from Our North American Webinar” written by Product Marketing at Dynamic Map Platform North America, Inc.
Based on a North American webinar in which Dynamic Map Platform North America participated, the article explores how mobile LiDAR and real-world data can be applied to urban forestry, including the collection of 3D data on trees and their surrounding environments and its use by municipalities and utilities.
It also highlights how real-world data developed through road surveying can be extended to urban forestry and other applications, including Dynamic Map Platform’s role as a data service provider in the urban forestry industry.
