(Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO & President: Shuichi Yoshimura; “Dynamic Map Platform”) participated in the “GeoAI & Robotics Summit 2026,” held from June 16 to 17, 2026 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, where Dynamic Map Platform joined discussions on the use of high-definition map data, digital twins, and AI to support the safe operation of autonomous vehicles.

The “GeoAI & Robotics Summit” is an international event organized for the first time by Geospatial World, bringing together leaders from industry, academia, and government active in geospatial AI (GeoAI), robotics, autonomous driving, and digital twins, to discuss the future application and real-world deployment of these technologies.
During the event, Trip Bonds, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at our North American subsidiary, Dynamic Map Platform North America, took part in a pitch workshop, an executive roundtable, and a plenary session titled “Transportation Autonomous Ops: Blueprint for Collaboration.”
Through exchanges with universities and research institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and the University of Pittsburgh, federal, state, and local government representatives, and companies in the autonomous driving and robotics sectors, Dynamic Map Platform shared views on the latest trends and the future application of these technologies globally.
Pittsburgh is widely recognized as a city where collaboration among universities, research institutions, government, and industry is driving innovation in robotics and autonomous driving. Through our participation in this event, Dynamic Map Platform reaffirmed that the conflation of geospatial data with AI, robotics, and autonomous driving technologies is critical for safely scaling up an AV enterprise.
On Tuesday the executive roundtable focused on Pittsburgh as a testbed for autonomous vehicle development. and featured cross-functional discussion amongst leaders in different domains including academia (robotics & business), construction & infrastructure, geospatial technologies, and government. Real-time sensing, connected corridors, work zone safety, and AI development, can each benefit from precise digital models such as what Dynamic Map Platform creates.
On Wednesday, the plenary panel shared well-reasoned, compelling perspectives on the charting of the national surface transportation system to establish “duty of care” obligations, the unique bipartisan collaboration in Washington promoting digital infrastructure, the critical importance of work zone safety, and precise geospatial mapping as the enabling technology for the foundation of automated vehicle control.
