Dynamic Map Platform Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO & President: Shuichi Yoshimura; “Dynamic Map Platform”) announces the implementation of Dynamic Map Platform’s High-Precision 3D Map Data in Honda SENSING 360+, the omnidirectional safety and driver-assistive system provided by Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Director, President and Representative Executive Officer: Toshihiro Mibe; “Honda”).

equipped with Dynamic Map Platform’s High-Precision 3D Map Data
Honda SENSING 360+ is installed in e:HEV Honda SENSING 360+, the latest Accord trim level launched on Friday, May 30, as a Japan-only model. Honda SENSING 360+ is a newer version of Accord’s standard Honda SENSING 360 feature equipped with Dynamic Map Platform’s High-Precision 3D Map Data along with other features. This makes it possible to accurately locate the position of the car, supporting safe and secure hands-off driving (driving with the driver’s hands off the steering wheel) on nationwide expressways/motorways and Active Lane Change Recommendation* through the system.
As a High-Precision 3D Map Data platform provider, Dynamic Map Platform will continue to contribute to the domestic and international development of autonomous driving and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
*In situations where a lane change is required, such as passing vehicles or at junctions, the system predicts and recommends the best course of action, and when the driver approves this, the system controls the turn signal, acceleration/deceleration, and steering to assist the driver with passing vehicles and changing lanes.
