3Dmapspocket® is a viewer of high-precision 3D data of expressways, freeways, and major arterial roads in Japan that we have acquired. This app will contribute to the promotion of digital innovation in various industries where digital transformation has not yet been accomplished.

What is 3Dmapspocket®?

It is a data platform that allows users to view and analyze high-precision 3D point cloud data of nationwide expressways/motorways and major arterial roads acquired by the Dynamic Map Platform.

Users can view the 3D point cloud data on their own PCs, enabling them to confirm and analyze detailed on-site conditions without having to visit the actual location.

Data is collected by measuring nationwide highways/expressways and major arterial roads using a "Mobile Mapping System (MMS)*" that employs Japan's most advanced and sophisticated measurement technology. We provide the data as a unified dataset by stitching together this massive volume of measurement data.

To ensure responsiveness to new extensions and changes in road conditions, we maintain data freshness through data maintenance. This data can be used for a variety of purposes, including solving road traffic challenges, and contributes to labor saving, efficiency improvement, and the creation of a safe and secure environment.

*Mobile Mapping System (MMS) is a vehicle equipped with GPS, cameras, laser scanners, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), etc.
