Dynamic Map Platform Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; “Dynamic Map Platform”) announces that it has been selected as a partner company for the accelerator program “DraPla Innovation Lab,” run by NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

DraPla Innovation Lab is an accelerator program implemented by NEXCO EAST together with companies that have new technologies and service ideas, with the aims of realizing next-generation expressway services, revitalizing local communities and creating projects that can solve social issues.
Now, Dynamic Map Platform has been selected for its proposed project, based on the theme of Advancing the management of underground objects on Expressway. This will optimize surveys and inspections of underground objects by detecting these structures under roads, service areas and parking areas (SA/PA) and using Spatial ID to make them visible.
Spatial ID is a new digital twinning technique that can recreate almost any real, physical space on Earth within digital space. This includes spaces above and below ground, in the air, and inside and outside. Dynamic Map Platform is making use of its knowhow of Spatial ID to contribute to the enhanced management of expressways, which are vital social infrastructure.
