Shuichi Yoshimura, CEO & President of Dynamic Map Platform Co., Ltd., appeared as a panelist during the program of the 6th Japan Infrastructure Investment Forum, held in Detroit, Michigan in the United States on Thursday, February 8. The panel discussion focused on exploring new areas of collaboration for Japanese and US companies in the fields of mobility and infrastructure in the State of Michigan.
Mr. Yoshimura participated in front of an audience of around 220 people, together with representatives from companies involved in infrastructure development in Japan and the United States. He spoke about the business vision of Dynamic Map Platform, which will lever the synergy of Japan-US cooperation to grow and expand.
In addition, Chris Thibodeau, CEO & President of the company’s American subsidiary, Dynamic Map Platform North America, Inc., gave a keynote speech in which he stressed the importance of High-Precision 3D Map Data in realizing safe and reliable autonomous driving and ADAS.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan (MLIT) holds the Japan Infrastructure Investment Forum in collaboration with United States government organizations to promote Japan-US collaboration in the field of infrastructure; this year was the sixth time this event has been held.
During this year’s Forum, various companies involved in the field of infrastructure held an exhibition, and there was a lively exchange of opinions regarding new collaborations between Japanese and US companies.
In addition to providing High-Precision 3D Map Data for ADAS to automobile manufacturers in countries around the world, including Japan and the United States, the Dynamic Map Platform Group will continue proactively engaging in Japan-US cooperation in the field of infrastructure as a company that provides High-Precision 3D Data to a wide range of industries.
