Shuichi Yoshimura, CEO & President of Dynamic Map Platform Co., Ltd., gave a speech at the first meeting of the Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) Advanced Science & Technology Strategy Committee, held by the Japan Association of Corporate Executives on Wednesday, May 22.
The meeting began with an explanation of the government’s Science, Technology, and Innovation Basic Plan by the Cabinet Office, covering its content, challenges, and future direction; Dynamic Map Platform was introduced as one of the successful outcomes of the Cabinet Office’s Cross-Ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP).
In front of around 50 participants, Dynamic Map Platform President Mr. Yoshimura gave a presentation in which he spoke about the formation of the company and gave an overview of High-Precision 3D data projects, information about future project development and more.
At the end of the presentation, he used a video to introduce High-Precision 3D point cloud data, and called for collaboration: “When I look at High-Precision 3D data that is an accurate copy of the real world, I’m sure that there are ways of using it that we have not thought of. If any of the executives participating today have an interest in this, please talk to us.”
Dynamic Map Platform provides High-Precision 3D Map data for ADAS to automobile manufacturers in countries around the world, including Japan and the US. As a platform that supports digital transformation through High-Precision 3D data in various industries, the company will facilitate the creation of new projects and contribute to the realization of a richer society.
