When a traffic accident occurs, non-life insurance companies and traffic accident investigation companies confirm the current conditions at accident sites as necessary. However, this confirmation work had its challenges, including the difficulty of investigating expressways and trunk roads where the site is troublesome to access, the size of the burden on the investigators carrying out their work at night or early in the morning when there is as little traffic as possible, and a chronic lack of investigators.

Dynamic Map Platform proposed 3Dmapspocket® as a way of dealing with these challenges. When used for this work, 3Dmapspocket® made it possible to confirm and analyze detailed road conditions on a computer without attending the site, including the conditions on expressways and trunk roads.
