ProPilot, Nissan Motor Corporation's proprietary driver assistance system, helps follow a preceding vehicle on the same lane and steer on expressways. To further develop this feature with the Skyline's big minor change in 2019, Nissan used Dynamic Map Platform's data.

Implementation Results

By utilizing various information, such as expressway lane information with High-Precision 3D Map data (HD maps) boasting reliable centimeter-class accuracy, we helped achieve highly reassuring hands-off driving in the same lane on expressways and freeways across Japan. Data maintenance is currently ongoing as we continue to support reliability and safety through our efforts to keep data up to date.
